Dr. Titus graduated from Casper College with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2000. She immediately went to work as a neuroscience nurse at Wyoming Medical Center. She continued her education through the University of Wyoming, graduating with a Bachelor of Science, Nursing in 2002. She continued to work full-time as an RN while completing her Master of Science in Nursing through the University of South Alabama. She graduated as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in December, 2005. She has worked as a Nurse Practitioner since early 2006. She returned to school full time in August, 2012, earning a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Colorado in June, 2014.
Her treatment philosophy is conservative. She spends a lot of time providing patient education. She can be heard quoting research about the dangers of controlled substance use and the synergistic effects of counseling and medications. She is authorized to conduct Genesight Testing or Genomind Testing for patients who have had a limited response to pyschotropic or opiate medications. She believes in using the least amount of medication possible to get an optimal response. Her doctoral research work involved rural mental health and building upon the therapeutic relationship with patients. She also believes in provider collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.. She loves cooking, entertaining, gardening, traveling, paddle boarding, skiing, snowshoeing, and just enjoying Big Wonderful Wyoming.
